Sichuan silicon producers operate at low levels

Most plants that produce 553# silicon, which did not undergo oxygen-refining, in Liangshan and Ya'an of Sichuan province suspended output in a falling market.
Plants that remained in operation have just one furnace running and plan to completely suspend after electricity tariffs are adjusted this weekend.
Prices of 553# silicon, without being oxygen-refined, averaged 11,550 CNY/MT at Huangpu port as of November 20th, down 600 CNY/MT or some 5%, from 12,150 CNY/MT on November 1st.
