Silicon traders slow restocking after Sep-Oct purchases

‍‍Restocking across silicon traders in the week to Thursday October 25th slowed after they stockpiled between the end of September to the start of October. Traders built stockpiles, driven by an upbeat outlook on silicon prices in the upcoming dry season.

Inventories at those traders accumulated but the orders that they received remained limited as of October 24th.

As of October 24th, we assessed the price of non-oxygen 553# silicon at Kunming port flat on the week at 11,800-12,000 CNY/MT.
