Operating rate at Chinese silicon metal producers inches up in July

‍‍Average operating rate across Chinese silicon metal producers stood at 49.4% in July. This was up 2.3 percentage points from June but 0.1 percentage point lower than July last year.

For the same month, silicon metal output across the country came in at 256,200 MT, up 5.5% month on month and 3.4% year on year. This brought total output during January-July to 1.49 million MT, up 19.3% from the same period last year.
