Chemical-grade silicon producers offer lower on fewer transactions

‍‍‍‍Offers of Chemical-grade dipped on Wednesday May 16 as transaction were few.

Many organosilicon plants recently shut their facilities for maintenance, which slow the consumption of raw materials. Many terminal consumers delayed their procurement and depleted on-hand inventories as they expect the supplies of Chemical-grade will grow in the coming rainy season.

On Wednesday May 16, 421# silicon traded at 14,500-14,700CNY/MT at HUANGPU port and at 14,600-14,800CNY/MT at TIANJIN port.‍‍
