Magnesium alloy project phase one goes into operation by Shang Magnesium Technology
The first stage of the 30,000-ton high-performance magnesium alloy materials, parts and 1-million hubs industrialization project, including eight steel bar production lines and workshops, constructed by Shang Magnesium Technology Company was completed.
In accordance with the inner news from Shang Magnesium, the second phase, including four magnesium alloy anode production lines, and the third stage, including six extrusion lines, one rolling mill and ten die-casting lines, are under tight construction at present and expected to go into commercial production this September. The fourth phase of magnesium alloy hub production lines is planned to start construction in 2022.
After all above production lines reach designed production capacity, the project can produce 30,000 tons of high-performance magnesium alloy materials, parts and extrusion die-casting magnesium alloy parts as well as 1 million high-performance forging magnesium alloy hubs per annum.
