High quality magnesium alloy project in Qixian sees smooth progress
Tianjin Meiao Magnesium Alloy Material Co., Ltd. recently introduced, at the same time, its patented production line of high-quality magnesium and vacuum melting magnesium alloy and it other production line of forging magnesium wheel hub of super plasticity into Qixian Economic Development Zone. According to relevant reports, the project goes smoothly with construction of number 1 factory being finished currently and they expect to see high purity magnesium products in late August. Besides, the production line of forging magnesium wheel hub will see equipment debugging and pilot production in mid-October.
According to the introduction made by Wang Erxing, chairman of the company, the project will help to fill the gaps in manufacturing technology for high-end magnesium alloys and magnesium wheel hub at home and abroad, which will be wildly applied to various industry sectors including new energy vehicle component, high-speed rail, mobile phone and laptop, etc. It is expected that the project will generate annual output value of RMB9 billion and help to create over 300 new jobs, making Qixian Economic Development Zone an industrial and manufacturing base for light-weight material, forging magnesium wheel hub, and high-end magnesium alloy equipment.
